Many have searched for reasons to explain Elon Musk’s departure from seemingly sane politics to a radical, even bizarre, personal, and financial support of the most unfit and unhinged candidate to ever infect politics, Donald Trump.

For such an influential billionaire spending hundreds of millions of dollars for a candidate who suggests he will bring down a democracy that has flourished for over two hundred years and institute fascist rule under his presidency, why is media so silent about his biggest supporter, Elon Musk and his admitted use of drugs.

In January of 2024, Even the Rupert-Mudoch-owned Wall Street Journal, whose Fox News provides 24-7 support of Donald Trump, published a piece about Musk’s use of LSD, cocaine, ecstacy, and psychedelic mushrooms. And in March of 2024, media published Musk’s claims that his use of psychedelic drugs like ketamine to treat depression is helpful for getting one out of the negative frame of mind.

Where are the revelations about drugs possibly influencing the radical political turnabout of Elon Musk, and his cringeworthy behavior cheerleading Trump at his rallies and indirectly paying voters to vote for Trump. Doesn’t media owe the voter such a revelation?

Musk is using his purchased Twitter (X) as a media source for electing a demonstrably unhinged, unfit man who could bring down our economy, spur violence, and bring chaos to our country. Isn’t that reason enough to inform voters regarding a billionaire source of income and support for such an unhinged candidate?

An oped today in the LA Times by Robin Abcarian questioned why Trump is so fixated on trans-gender issues. Media stories in July of 2024 provide some possible explanation. Maybe it’s an issue important to Musk with Trump, wanting to repay Musk for his support, putting a spotlight on that issue.

Elon Musk’s transgender daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, commented in July of this year of the estrangement of her and her father, Elon Musk. After Musk had alleged that she was “killed” by “woke mind virus,” she said that her father “just won’t stop lying” about her and he lives in his “own delusional fantasy land.”

Such disclosures certainly should be private for the average citizen, but when this election carries such high stakes for Americans, that we are on the cusp of a fascist takeover of our government with a possible electoral college victory by an unhinged, unfit man, the public has a right to know events that influence campaign issues and that could affect our vote.

If Elon Musk is influenced by drugs and is using his almost unlimited wealth to push, perhaps to even buy a candidate unfit to lead us, we certainly have a right to know.
