In spite of your self-serving denials, John Thune and Mikey Johnson, GOP leaders of the Senate and House, and, yes, 269 compatriots in Congress, you hold much more guilt for the Orange Demon’s tyranny in our world than the 77M voters and some 10M non-voters who failed to see the deadly and dire consequences of their votes and non-votes.
You were standing behind Jonathan Ross when he shot Renee Good in the face. Like Ross, for an instant, you saw the blood spurt from her face and sauntered down to her wrecked car and noted the blood on her inflated air bags. You helped Jesus Ochoa and Raymundo Gutierrez pump 10 bullets into the back of Alex Pretti, a good Samaritan who helped a woman they assaulted. Probably nine of your assisted shots hit a dead body.
You are a perverse Charles Exum, a Customs and Border Protection agent, who boasted to his fellow agents in a text about wounds he inflicted on Miramar Martinez, school teacher: “Read it, five shots, seven holes. I have a MOF amendment to add to my story.” He ended his vicious rant: “Sweet, five minutes of fame. LAMO.”
Your inactions have helped separate children from parents, have broken car windows, and given federal masked agents the license to tear-gas, shoot rubber bullet indiscriminately at crowds of people peacefully resisting terrorist agents – and murder them.
You see thousands in Trump prisons shouting their agonies and sufferings. Surely your eyes blink back to scenes of brown-shirts from childhood history classes, thugs, Hitler’s private army used like Trump’s ICE.
You are the racist Trump, trying to re-write history, excluding non-whites. You were there when the missiles vaporized Venezuelan boats and tore the flesh of simple sailors. You stand behind the orange demon who slurs out insults to good and honest people. You are the ugly visage of Donald Trump with dead eyes ranting about imaginary achievements. You daily center on this pathetic man, certainly not Americans or the teeming billions of the world’s people.
What a bitter irony for us that you are paid by us to represent the tyrant who imposes death and suffering on people. Before you take office, you falsely pledge fealty to us and the Constitution in your oath of office, but your pledge is to Donald J. Trump in whatever cruelties, bankruptcies, miseries, and, yes, even deaths he imposes.
