Because there is little to no coverage and to give an idea of what is going on with the Wall Street Protests, we’ve shared a You Tube video (below) of Lawrence O’Donnell’s analysis describing how police brutality continues to thrive well beyond the days of Rodney King.
In addition to Wall Street’s economic abuse, if this type of behavior continues and is allowed to be condoned – could this eventually spark the beginnings of a civil war?
This video shows the crimes committed against Rodney King as well as the crimes being committed against protesters at Wall Street.
Are we becoming a ‘police state?’ Or – are we already?
Do your part and share this article in hopes that the message gets out to those who are uninformed of Police Crimes.
Because really… Who’s policing the police?

28 Sep 2011“I really wish everyone would drop the whole Rodney King thing. You’re making us look stupid. King was TWICE the legal limit and led them on a high-speed chase at over a hundred miles an hour, and was already on parole as a thief. He also displayed actions of someone high on more than alcohol. It’s not like they yanked him off the sidewalk (like the NYPD vs. protesters)… I mean YES, the LAPD went way too far, I agree, but can we not canonize a thief, PLEASE?”

28 Sep 2011@ Ben – I’m not sure it’s humanly possible to make promises – given that we’re imperfect beings… but we can strive to be better by learning from past and current behavior patterns and possibly set programs or better child rearing practices in place. Sure, we’d happily make a deal with your last point – no more unnecessary police brutality for no more canonizing… but unfortunately, we as humans don’t have that kind of control. Maybe the more important thing to look at is to have better things in place for when it does and inevitably will happen again.

28 Sep 2011It’s a real shame when people are no longer surprised these types of behaviors… I know we’re not perfect as human citizens or law enforcement, but socially, we’ll always be slowly and perpetually circling the drain as long as we resort to such blatant violence.
